13Ghosts-The Withered Lover

the Withered Lover, probably the saddest of all the ghosts, and the only genuinly good one. I forget her real name.. Jane? Mary? Iunno.

Fully painted from scratch over the course of a few days, between contracted work. Ref'd bits and bobs. Face was difficult.

5 more to go! Torn Prince is next according to the poll. Dunno if I'm looking forward to that or not..

EDIT: LOL I JUST REALISED: I flipped this image in the final stages because I realised the composition with the card Diamonds and Q's would be better suited.. Now her burns are on the wrong side! haha, Oh wells. Scew it. I call artistic liscence on that. Hahaha, I'm such a twat.

EDIT: People seem to think I paint these from imagination, which is impossible. Most of my character busts are heavily referenced from manymany photographs, family members, my own dog, or various other things. In order to get this level of realism and detail you have to know what to paint, and that can only come through observation of reality.
